Too much comfort can kill curiosity.
Lately, I’ve realized how much I rely on AI for everything, from answering random questions to writing assignments and coding. It feels like I’m outsourcing my thinking to a machine. Instead of grappling with problems and understanding concepts, I just copy-paste a prompt with poor grammar and English and wait for the answer.
When I try to focus without AI, my mind feels blank. I’ve started forgetting simple things because I don’t push myself to recall them. Instant answers are rewiring me to expect everything to be fast, while real thinking is often slow and uncomfortable.
AI is powerful, especially for coding one chatbot wrote 900 lines of code in a single prompt with incredible precision(something I’ve never done with such precision). But I see how excessive use harms creativity, patience, and memory.
